Truck is 94 4.0L. I gave it all I had and cannot get the thing off!!! (Why couldn't Ford just bolt it to the water pump like it was on my S-10 ??). I used the wrenches I rented from Auto Zone and the one for the fan clutch nut just made some ugly spots on the nut. I've got a friend who has a regular open end that I think will work. Is that thing just on there hella tight, or am I doing something wrong?? Im turning the nut CLOCKWISE when I'm facing the truck, which I believe is correct because it has a reverse thread??. Someone please tell me if there's a trick I don't know or if you just gotta put mega balls on it... thanks dave ghopper ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 03 Jun 2000 17:39:50 -0400 From: "Theodore D. My question is, is this stuff compatible with "standard" ethelyne glycol anti-freeze? If it is, I will switch over when each vehicle comes due for coolant service. Right now I just needed to top things off.....
